Purpose
The relationship between children and objects is profound, part of their growth and their research on the world.
This workshop deals with experimentation with the language of object theater as a tool for the construction of plays for children. In essence, the relationship between form and content in scenic construction will be worked through reflection and experimentation with materials and objects.
We will investigate the choice of a specific semantic field of objects or matter, for the elaboration of a particular aesthetic that enters into dialogue with the dramatic content.

- Object theater for children. Guidelines and definition.
- Guidelines and criteria of relationship with objects, depending on the age at which the show is intended.
- 3.1 Theater for babies. Neutral matter, formal investigations
- 3.2 Theater for preschoolers. Neutral matter, symbolic game.
- 3.3 Theater for children from 7 years old. Transfiguration of objects. Symbolic significance of the object.
- Form and content
- Experimentation with unrealistic languages. The choice of a semantic field determined by diverse subjects and objects for the elaboration of a particular aesthetic that enters in dialogue with the dramatic content.
Materials
- The institution: classroom and sound equipment.
- The Teacher: texts of analysis and music.
- The student: work clothes and materials that arise with experimentation. Example: cardboard boxes, fabrics, various objects.
